Newstar Philippines On Line Blog is open to all bloggers worlwide! Newstar Philippines Blog On Line is a subsidiary of Newstar Philippines (New York), the leading Filipino American Newspaper which circulates in seven States in the US.

With the present technological advancement, Newstar Philippines continues to pursue its advocacy of dissiminating informations not only to Filipino Americans in US, but to all Filipinos worlwide were they can participate freely through the use of the internet. Newstar Philippines recently organized a pool of Filipino bloggers, web page designers, photographers and writers to interlink the different sites being managed and developed by Filipinos worlwide. At present, the project is reaching out the different groups, including individual bloggers at Yahoo, Googles, Blogspot and other site providers to establish and organized a medium towards a democratic, progressive and development media dissiminating information directly from independent and original source of information, the bloggers. , New York was founded in 1992 by JOHN YNAYAN, a Filipino migrant to the United States, a native of Cadiz, Negros Occidental. John migrated to the United States almost a decade ago and started freight forwarding business to serve his countrymen in US. He then engaged in other enterpreneurial activities, until in 2002 decided to organized a group of Filipinos to come out with a paper to cater to their Filipino countrymen who in thirst of news from their country, the Philippines. It was then that Newstar Philippines, which was based in New York was established. Today, Newstar Philippines circulates in seven States in US and is now considered as the leading news carrier of Filipinos in the United States.

JOHN YNAYAN, Publisher- He founded NEWSTAR Philippines in January 2002, after 16 years of retail experience in cargo business. He earlier financed another Filipino newspaper to learn the market, until he’s ready to organize a professional team that will voice out the varied interests of the Filipino community while tapping resources from the Philippines’ leading newspaper, Philippine Daily Inquirer.

CAROLINA TANJUTCO, Editor-in-Chief- Formerly Manila Bureau Chief of Headline Philippines NY (1993-2001), CPA-Lawyer, member of the New York Press Club and Ateneo Law Journal, was internet legal counselor of Pacific Internet aka Attorney Webby. Her column, Philippine Juris, ran for 8 years and published on-line at www.RadioPinoyUSA.com. As a lawyer, she prosecuted white-collar criminals in the Philippines, served the Court of Appeals for 5 years, was trained by Philippine Judicial Academy and later, appointed by the Supreme Court as Mediator. In U.S., she is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) working in cooperation with federal law enforcers.

DON LINO CELLE, C.E.O. of WRMN Radio Pinoy USA, the only 24-hour radio station broadcasting in the tri-state region, since 1989, is best known for his fearless commentaries and interview of past and present Philippine presidents, and of such controversial personalities as Imelda Marcos, Gringo Honasan, MNLF leaders and more. His watchdog column, Matanglawin (eg. Eagle’s Eye), regularly appears on-line through www.RadioPinoyUSA.com, Headline Philippines (1993-2001), and broadcasted live through RMN Philippines. DAVID IGNACIO, JR.
